I wanted to share with you one of my BIG motivators for getting moving and in the mood to work out: music. Here you will find the best tool to make a bad a$$ playlist when you want to crush your workout.


So, it has been about a month since you created your 2021 New Year’s goals and resolutions. By now, you may have had some ups and downs, and some obstacles to overcome. You may have had some of those days when even lacing-up your sneakers seems like a big effort. I wanted to share with you one of my BIG motivators for getting moving and in the mood to work out: music.

When I have a good playlist, I’m golden.

One issue I always seem to run into with making the best playlist is not having enough time. It takes time to scroll through thousands of songs and pick a good mix of tunes to get pumped-up and ready to sweat. Spotify has come in for the win with its Soundtrack Your Workout Tool. It’s super simple and really quick.

How to get your personalized playlist


1. Once on Spotify, you will be prompted to log-in to your account.

2. Answer the seven questions (What genre of music you like to listen to while working out? how long is your workout? Are you doing yoga, strength training, HIIT?)

3. You’re done! You have a brand-new playlist for your workouts.


Now there are no excuses not to get that sweat session in and hit your 2021 goals.
