Perhaps you have heard about meditating and think it sounds like something you could use in your life but it seems impossible to find the time or intimidating to start. Here is your stepping stone into meditation. It is called Guided Meditation. Guided Meditation is basically like adult story time for relaxation... sounds nice right? It is.

Meditation has been proven to decrease stress, depression and anxiety. Stress can cause increased levels of cortisol in the body. Over time, high levels of this little bugger (cortisol) may cause weight gain and high blood pressure, disrupt sleep, negatively impact mood, reduce your energy levels and contribute to diabetes.. just to name a few. Luckily even just practicing or trying out meditation for an extended period of time can help reduce cortisol levels leaving you more clear headed and overall a happier calmer version of YOU! Here is a guided meditation that I absolutely LOVE. Listening to guided meditations was one of the ways I began my mediation journey. Now its to the point that I feel weird all day if I don't meditate. You can listen to this anytime you have a free moment.
